Cos the Rockabilly rave is nearly here!!! 2 and a half weeks till my favourite event of the year, I get to see all my mates from round the country and get to wind up the french rockabillies!!! (sorry, but its an old tradition dating back to hemsby no 2) Is anyone else from here going?

i was always a hardcore Hemsby fan, did number 2 till it moved without missing any, once it moved i didn't want to go again so i gave the rave a try as all my mates were regulars their. Its brilliant, far better than hemsby has been for years. My favourite weekend of the year!
I must say Mitch that alot of people have said that about Hemsby, but have given it another go and said it is getting back to how it used to be, for me my first was the last one Hemsby 42 and I had an awsome time, Oh and Lexi there is plenty of people at the weekenders you will find someone there if you want to find them

Yeah, I've heard its not bad actually. Was going to go but due to finances (and baby sitters) can only do a limited amount of weekenders per year, The Rave is a definite and we also did a Psychobilly weekender at Hemsby but that has been cancelled now so may have room for hemsby once more. gotta see if money allows it!
was brilliant, I'll put some pics on when my brain starts to work again, but it was a good weekend. watched one of my old rockabilly heroes, Hayden Thompson. It amazes me that these old rockin singers most of them now on there way to 80 years old can sing and sound just like they did 50 years ago! Yet Britney Spears goes on stage and mimes, just shows who's got the real talent. Photos to follow!
