1953 FORD POP V8 TWIN TURBO

·        1953 FORD POP V8 TWIN TURBO

Triumph front end Jag rear and Jago Chassis.

The Chassis is an original Jago that has never seen the road.

The rear axle is an E type Jag LSD it has been stripped and rebuilt with all new parts as needed which has four new adjustable coilovers.

The Jag Callipers were stripped having stainless steel liners put in and rebuilt so will never need doing again. Jag hand brake all rebuilt as well.

The front end is a Triumph Vitesse it has been stripped and rebuilt and all Polly bushed and has new adjustable coilovers.

The steering rack is also Triumph and has been reconditioned.

The front Callipers have also been reconditioned and have got braided stainless steel break hoses.

The brakes are on a dual braking system that has a new dual servo fitted with a new dual master cylinder and all new break pipes with stainless steel clips. All the pipes are plumbed in they just need connecting to the master cylinder and they will be ready to bleed.

The steering column is all connected but it needs a bracket made to secure.

The propshaft has been made and is ready to bolt on and there also is a prop loop fitted.

The wheels are Wolfrace Slot Mags in great condition, the rears are 15x8 with new Hoosier tyres fitted and the fronts are 13x5.5 but will need new tyres.

The engine is a Rover 3.5 with Janspeed Twin Turbo’s very rare and hard to get hold of it also has a Rover craft alloy sump. I was told it had all been reconditioned when I bought it. It runs great it has been wired so it can be seen running, it also has a new radiator to take the V8 with cosworth twin fans and a custom made exhaust system with stainless steel boxes. The gearbox is a BW 65 with a B&M Quicksilver Shifter fitted and also has an alloy oil cooler fitted. The running gear is almost ready to go.

There is a mirror finished stainless steel floor to go with the pop it has been bent to the shape of the chassis so it will fit great just needs to be cut.

The body has been sand blasted and put in red oxide and is very straight with no rot. It has had new sills fitted. It has had a box section put in to keep it nice and strong and the doors fit great. The tunnel is all fitted, the boot lid needs a bit of work but not to bad and the bulkhead needs a little work to finish.

It has a Fibreglass flip front fitted this is new and works fine, I was using this as a mock up as there is a steel front end to go with the pop.

The rear arches are also Fibreglass.

There is a full set of glass and door cards to go with the pop.

The seat boxes are made and ready to fit with huntmaster seats.

The pop also has the correct V5.

What you see is what you get, all the hard work is done it would not take much to finish.        Also on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230427974822
